WCC Judging Skills Program – BREWERS

Designed for individuals who want to learn more about the World Brewers Cup Championships and begin their journey to becoming a certified World Brewers Cup Championships judge. From 2027, the Judge Skills Program will be a requirement for anyone wishing to become a WCC-certified judge.

Led and organized by certified WCC representatives, these workshops offer in-depth insights into the judging process and points system of the World Coffee Championships (WCC) at the local level. They serve as a first step towards WCC Certified Judge certification.

Following the training, participants will have an understanding of the WCCs, further develop their evaluation skills, and learn how competitions are judged and evaluated. The training program was developed based on the latest research from the Specialty Coffee Association and takes into account the latest WCC Rules & Regulations as well as the logic of the Coffee Value Assessment System.

Cancellation Policy:
If a participant is unable to attend a course, the provider must be informed immediately in writing – by mail or email. The date of receipt of the written notification is decisive for a refund of the course fees. The following refund policy applies:

• Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the course starts = 100% of the course fee will be refunded.
• Cancellation up to 2 weeks before the course starts = 50% of the course fee will be refunded.
• Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the course starts = no refund

Participants have the option of nominating a substitute instead of cancelling their registration. Such a change requires the approval of the certification bodies and is possible up to three working days before the course begins.

If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the provider reserves the right to cancel the course. Course fees already paid will be fully refunded to the respective participants. Confirmation of the course will be given no later than four weeks before the course begins.
