{"id":23414,"date":"2026-05-27T15:01:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-27T13:01:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.nkgquality.com\/?post_type=product&#038;p=23414"},"modified":"2026-06-12T19:27:39","modified_gmt":"2026-06-12T17:27:39","slug":"cqi_processing_generalist_en","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/www.nkgquality.com\/en\/produkt\/cqi_processing_generalist_en\/","title":{"rendered":"CQI Processing Generalist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Q Processing program links processing to flavor and quality in the cup, while teaching the skills to deliberately influence these factors.<\/p>\n<p>Q Processing Level 1 The Generalist is a two-day lecture and learn-by-doing course that introduces the standard language around coffee processing and includes comparative cupping.<\/p>\n<p>The Q Processing Level 1 Generalist certificate will be granted to students that pass the culminating exam. Emphasis is on the main processing methods and how they impact coffee chemistry and influence coffee flavor, within the context of quality improvement to increase coffee\u2019s value for the betterment of coffee farmers and producers.<\/p>\n<p>Coffee people on the consuming side of the coffee value chain will also gain insight into the complexities and challenges of safely and sustainably producing quality coffee at the farm-level.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Cancellation terms<br \/>\n<\/strong>If the participant is unable to participate in a course, the provider must be informed immediately and in writing &#8211; by letter post or e-mail. The date of receipt of such written notification is decisive for any refund of the course fee. The following refund guidelines apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cancellation up to 4 weeks before the course starts = 100% of the course fee will be returned<\/li>\n<li>Cancellation up to 2 weeks before the course starts = 50% of the course fee will be returned<\/li>\n<li>Cancellation less than 2 weeks before the course starts = no refund<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The participant has the possibility to name a substitute participant instead of cancelling the participation. An exchange is subject to acceptance by the certification bodies and can take place up to 3 working days prior to the start of the course.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ed1c24;\">If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the provider reserves the right to cancel the course. The paid course fees will be refunded in full to the respective participants.
